okay so i was planing on doing a post today because track had our first meet...well we were supposed to. They canceled it because it was poring down rain (air quotes) but really it only rained for 15 minutes and then it was sunny and perfect heat and everything. but ya it got canceled so i will post next week as long as that meet doesn't get canceled! cross your fingers for us!

My current book list!!
here is my current list of favorite books!
these four are from the same series. they are about vampires (like twilight) and they are really good. the girl in the book is in the process of changing into a vampire and is at a special school for 'fledgeling' vampires.
This was a really good read about a girl who is supposedly a big snotty rich girl, but just wants to snowboard and find a way to impress her family.
This is another vampire book/ vampire love story ... They aren't very well written but they have somewhat of a good plot to them.
Angels in Pink is one of my favorite series. It is about 3 best friends who volunteer at a hospital over the summer and each have something to deal with in their book.
Ahhh hatchet! I've loved hatchet since I was in 2nd grade, so I thought I would reread it!
These are just some books that are mentioned in one of my all time favorite series... HARRY POTTER! the first one up there is talking about all the magical animals in the book. The green one is about the game Harry plays all the time, Quidditch. The last one is a fairy tale book for the wizard kids.
This is one of the more recent series that I've read. It is by Scott Westerfeld and he rocks! This is about a girl from the future who has awesome... well i guess you could call them adventures, but you get the point.
I just started this series today while I was getting blood drawn. It is really good so far and it is by the same guy who wrote the uglies series!

The bloody fun time!!!
So let me give you some back round on what I am doing. My mom has type one diabetes and she heard about this research study about 2 years ago. So Spencer and I went in to see if we had any of the 2 types of antibodies that could develop into type one. Spencer's test came back as no sign for either but they found one in my blood stream. Now I go in every 6 months and they do a glucose tolerance test to see if my blood sugar gets high or low (that is the same thing they do when you are pregnant to see if you have gestational diabetes).
here is me being a chicken while they are taking some blood. (i reeeeeally don't like to watch)
